- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20001213. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3679. NAICS is 334419. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (The award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. This purchase will be for a total of seventeen (17) items (cables). The seventeen (17) items (cables) consist of: Fifteen (15) Cables with the following specifications: 0M = Internally ruggedized, Based on .320" O.D. cable, Solid Center Conductor, Q01 = IEEE Backshell PN Pin (male), R01 = SMA Pin (male), Maximum operating frequency (GHz) = 18, Assembly length is 444" (37 ft.), Guaranteed Insertion Loss= -8.75 dB@16 GHz, Typical Insertion Loss = -6.75 dB@16GHz, VSWR = 1.45:1 and Two (2) Cables with the following specifications: 0M = Internally ruggedized, Based on .320" O.D. cable, Solid Center Conductor, Q01 = IEEE Backshell PN Pin (male), Q01 = IEEE Backshell PN Pin (male), Maximum operating frequency (GHz) = 18, Assembly length is 600" (50 ft.), Guaranteed Insertion Loss = 11.73 dB@16 GHz, Typical Insertion Loss = -9.06 dB@16GHz, VSWR = 1.45:1 Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the seventeen (17) required items (cables) described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the required equipment. FOB Destination is the Government preferred method of shipping. Please submit FOB Destination shipping information with all submittals to the office. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
