- This is a notice of intent of the VA Maryland Health Care System to negotiate sole source with Loyola College, Pastoral Counseling Dept., Columbia, Maryland to provide Catholic Sacramental Ministry Services. This procurement is being conducted under authority FAR 6.302-1. The authority cited and justification made is based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. Duties include, but is not limited to, worship services, counseling for grieving families, distribution of the Eucharist, facilitator of small groups, provide mass, respond to emergency calls and visitation of new and seriously ill patients for the period of 10/1/03 through 9/30/04. NAICS code is 813110. This notice is for information only and may represent the only official notice of such solicitation, however, the Government will consider all proposals received on or before July 24, 2003, 4:00PM local time. All responses must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer (90C), VA Maryland Health Care System, PO Box 1000, Building 101, Room 26, Perry Point, Maryland 21902-1000, to my attention. Telephone or faxed inquiries will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
