- Description
- This project consists of Phase I water system improvements at the Oak Grove Fire Station located on the Palomar Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest. Project includes the installation of approximately 2,765 linear feet of six (6) inch potable water main, new water system appurtenances, well improvements, deferred maintenance work on an existing 20,000 gallon steel water storage tank, demolition work, and the installation of approximately 2,620 linear feet of electrical control line and other electrical improvements. ADDITIVE BID ITEMS may include abandoned well destruction, concrete demolition work, well yield and drawdown test and the replacement of old waterline laterals. Magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Location: From San Diego, California, travel north on Interstate 15 for approximately 60 miles to Hwy. 79 South. Turn right and travel east on Hwy. 79 South for approximately 30 miles to Warner Springs. Oak Grove Fire Station is located on south side of Highway 79 South. Solicitation will be posted on this site by July 15.
