- i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. (ii) RFQ-0401-03-0036, this solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and one award will be made on a fixed price basis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-14 with corrections dated June 3, 2003. (iv) This is a total small business concern set aside under NAICS Code: 423810, Construction and Mining (except Oil Well) Machinery and Equipment Merchants Wholesalers. The small business size standard for this NAICS Code is set at 500 employees or less. (v) BID ITEM (1): Dozer/Tractor, net horsepower of 80 maximum. (vi) Additional requirements bid item (1): 48 inches maximum width. Six way blade. Three shank ripper. Back-up alarm, and front and rear lights. 9000 lb hydraulic winch. Gross weight 10,000 lbs maximum. (vii) Desired delivery date is August 15, 2003. FOB POINT: Ashley National Forest; Attn: Mike Bergfeld; 248 South 500 East, Vernal, UT, 84078 (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition. Additionally the following evaluation criteria will be considered during the contract award process: price, technical offer, warranty, and delivery time. (x) Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. This provision is provided to the offeror online at http://www.arnet.gov/far/ or on Federal Business Opportunities at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xiii) The following Numbered Notes are applicable to this solicitation and the ensuring contract: 1 (one). (xiv) Offers are due by 4:30 PM (Local time of Mountain Standard) on Tuesday July 15, 2003.
