- This is a notice of intent to award on a sole-source basis for the commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intends to contract with Kinney Systems Inc./ Central Parking Corporation, Government Center Garage, 50 New Sudbury Street, Boston, MA 02115, for fixed rate parking of 42 Government Vehicles in a secured facility with 24 hour, 7 day a week unlimited access, located within 3-block radius of the District Office, for the period of 10/01/2003 through 09/30/2004. Service will be provided to: DHS, Boston District Office, JFK Federal Building, Government Gencter, Boston, MA 02203. This contract is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Kinney Systems Inc. under the authority 41 U.S.C. 253 ( c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 unless additional sources are located. This notice is being solicited on a sole-source basis unless alternate sources are located.
