Description

This is a notice of intent to award on a sole-source basis for the commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intends to contract with Emes International Security Systems Ltd., 1201 Broadway, New York, NY 10001, for firm, fixed rate maintenance of the existing CCTV Equipment on the 4th and 11th Floors of the building, for the period of 10/01/2003 through 09/30/2004, plus three possible one-year option periods. As a condition of this contract, the Contractor must guarantee that repairs to this equipment will be made within 24 hours. Service will be provided to: DHS, 201 Varick Street, New York, NY 10014. This contract is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Emes International Security Systems Ltd. under the authority 41 U.S.C. 253 ( c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 unless additional sources are located. This notice is being solicited on a sole-source basis unless alternate sources are located.
