- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security has a requirement for a new 10’ x 46’ office trailer. Trailer shall have central ac/heating, VTC tile (no carpet). Price of trailer shall include delivery, set-up, leveling, and skirting. Delivery shall be to the NAC-Secondary Security Entrance, Nebraska Ave Complex, Washington DC 20528. Trailer should contain three rooms. A bathroom is not required. Trailer should have vinyl type siding (not wood). Trailer will be utilized as a temporary office space, which may include such items as computers, copiers, etc. The color of the trailer shall be either white or beige. The Government point of contact prior to delivery shall make final color selection. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code is 336214 with a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is considered to be commercial and will be awarded under the provisions as outlined in FAR Part 13. The Government will award based on best value. Factors that will be considered are delivery time, specifications and price. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity.
