- A Presolicitation Notice for the Small Diameter Bomb Program was posted on 06 June 2003. The RFP for the effort was formally released to the two incumbent contractors, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control – Orlando, and McDonnell Douglas, A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of The Boeing Company, on 27 June 2003.
