- NOTICE: 100% HUB ZONE SET-ASIDE. Project Name: Rehabiliation of four comfort stations at Butte Lake, Lassen County, California and rehabilitation of two comfort stations at Summit Lake, Shasta County, California. Solicitation Number N8400031004. The National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior is soliciting proposals for a firm, fixed-price construction contract to furnish all labor materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successsful completion of the above name project. Work includes, but is not limited to: replacement of fixtures, replacement of partitions, installation of ceramic tile floors and walls, and surface painting. For all six comfort stations, additions will be added to each end of the existing structure providing ADA compliant toilet compartments. Limited site work will be required for the new ADA additions and for pathway paving. Work on these buildings shall commence after Labor Day, September 1, 2003 and be completed by November 30, 2003. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 and the small business size standard is $28.5 Million. Contract duration is 90 calendar days following notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the price range for this contract is $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is a "Best Value: negotiated procurement: The Government is consider an offer's capability (technical expertise and past performance) in comparison to the offered price with price equal in importance to the offeror's capability. A site visit will be scheduled for all interest and qualified parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation. The solicitation and attachments will be posted on electronic commerce on or about July 7, 2003 at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. *See FEDBIZOPPS SEARCH below). All amendments will be posted to this website. Responses will be die approximately 30 days following the date of posting of the solicitation unless extended.
