- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center intends to award a modification to purchase order N00244-03-P-1566 for an additional 320 man-hours of effort to archive and edit historical submarine and digital ice draft data. The period of performance is being extended from 30 Sept 2003 to 31 Dec 2003 to enable the completion of the work already begun under purchase order N00244-03-P-1566. This effort is being sole sourced to Bronson Hills Associates because it is the only company with sufficient knowledge of arctic sea ice, sea ice drafts, sound velocity, and data formats required to perform and complete this effort; however, all responsible sources may submit a response explaining how their company can meet the government's requirements which will be considered by the agency for the purpose of deciding whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The original RFQ and statement of w ork is available at www.neco.navy.mil under RFQ N00244-03-T-0504. See Note 22. Commercial procedures are not being used for this effort. The modification is expected to be awarded about 11 July 2003.
