- Part: U.S. Government Procurement Subpart: Construction Class Code Major Construction Office Add Department of Veterans Affairs, Contracting Officer 90C, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), Building 41, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72114. Subject: Research Expansion Project - Sol. IFB 598-193-03. The VA has a requirement to build an addition to its John L. McClellan facility in Little Rock. The addition will be approximately 13,000 SF and will tie into the existing building. A single floor will be constructed with footings and columns designed to add 2 floors in the future. The new addition will expand the research laboratory space creating 8 new wet-labs each with fume hoods. The facility will also contain two new BL-3 labs. Cost range is $1,000,000- $5,000,000. This is a 2nd synopis for this project.
