- A paper solicitaition will not be issued. The solicitation will be available for download at www.eps.gov or http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 14, 2003. A site visit for this project has been scheduled for July 17, 2003 at 10:00 AM. Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, equipment, transportation, labor and supervision to remove and replace in kind with new materials, the existing roofing, deteriorated flashing, felts, plys, insulation and other components, as required to replace the modified-bitumen roof. Contractor will remove and replace two (2) leaking and delaminated sections of bituminous flat roof totaling 2,720 square feet. The sections are each independent of one another and surrounded by parapet and masonry walls. Section one is 2,240 square feet and section two is 480 square feet in size. Roof penetrating fixtures will be retained and re-used where possible. If not re-usable they will be replaced in kind. The existing cement coping stones capping the parapet walls must be removed and reinstalled. It will be necessary to remove and reinstall the existing lightining grounding system to do the repairs. The project will also replace seam seals in one skylight and reseal one (1) damaged 5 foot by 15 foot multi-light skylight. Lightning Ground System shall be re-installed, tested and UL certified by a licensed electrician upon completion of work. Location of work: Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve, Eunice , LA. The anticipated range of this project is expected to be between $25,000 - $100,000.
