Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order for the HAYWARD Main Engine Overhaul in accordance with the terms and conditions of Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number DACW61-03-T-0073. The contra ctor shall be required to replace, inspect, repair, recondition, overhaul and then reassemble the new engine components. All offerors shall be factory-authorized service representatives for the Electro-Motive Division (EMD) of General Motors Corporation a nd have three (3) years of documented work on EMD engines. The RFQ will be issued on or about 3 July 2003 with an offer due date of 10 July 2003 at the close of business (4:00 p.m. eastern time). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NA ICS) for this procurement is 336611 and has a Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) of 3731. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The period of performance is twelve (12) days. Affirmative action to insure equal employment opport unity is applicable to the resulting contract. Liquidated damages are included. Contractor must be registered in the DoD??????s Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300 and must be in compliance with the VETS 100 annual report ing as required by FAR 22.1310(b). RFQ doc uments will be available only on this website; hard copies will not be available. If any information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet.
