Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in thi s notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is DAAD05-03-T-0093. Requirement is for Irvin Hang-Up Parachutist Release Assembly (HUPRA) for the Government of Kenya. CLIN 0001 Hang-Up Parachutist Release Assembly (HUPRA), P/N 15A136807, to include technical manuals and spare parts list, 10 EA. Delivery terms are FOB Origin. Shipping will be arranged by the cognizant DCM A office. Offerors shall supply the contracting office with the location from where the material will be shipping. Offerors must provide a delivery schedule with their proposal. This is a Foreign Military Sales Requirement, FMS Case BK-B-BAH; purchase r equest BKEA9N3170E701. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on price and delivery schedule. While price is mor e important than delivery, award will be made to the offeror that provides the best delivery schedule for the best price. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be provided with of fers. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisit ion. Additional FAR clauses cited in this clause are applicable: (1) 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities (2) 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity; (3) 52.222-35, Affirmative Action For Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, (4) 52.222-36, A ffirmative Action For Workers with Disabilities, (5) 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era, (6) 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (May 1999). A completed copy of the provision at DFAR 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be provided with offers. The clause at DFAR 252.212-7001 applies to this acquisition. Additional clauses that apply to this acquisition: 52.247-29 FOB Ori gin, 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, and 252.225-7012, Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities.
