- Solicitation /Synopsis: This combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document with incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The Northern American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 423910, and employee standard size of 500 applies to the solicitation. The proposed contract is set aside for small business. NON-PERSONAL SERVICES: (1) Request a three stack multi ? machine, to fit fifteen Minutemen sites, room size is 12X10 and five Peacekeeper sites, room size 10.5X17, with adjustable cross over cables, lat and row cables, standard and ladder bar pull up station, sit up toe bar and multi - position floater. (2) Leg extension and curl for the three stack multi ? machine. (3) Free weight power rack attachment with self-spotting safety system and plate storage attachments. Which is required for the five Peacekeeper site systems only. The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the blanks filled in as follows: Request for Quotation will be evaluated for price and compatibility with specifications. Quotes shall include pricing information to include material unit price and extended total as well as the completed provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items-applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) 5, 14-19, 24 and 25 (c)(2). The following clauses are also applicable to this acquisition: DFARS 252.212-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program (41 U.S.C. 10, E.O. 10502); and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. Quotes will be received at 90 CONS/LGCB, 7505 Marne Loop, F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 until 4:30 P.M. local time on 27 June 2003.
