- Surgical Instrument Repair/Refurbishment services =96 The Department = of Veterans Affairs, Philadelphia VA Medical Center, has a requirement for complete repair and refurbishment services for surgical instrument and equipment including inspection, sharpening, and alignment of surgical instruments. Contractor will furnish all parts, materials, labor, and transportation necessary and incident to the repair and refurbishment of general surgical instruments, microscope and specialty instrument, endoscopic instruments, rigid and flexible scopes, pneumatic equipment, Phaco hand-pieces, cameras, printer, and other surgical equipment as needed. Services shall include 24 hours per day =96 7 days per week availability and on-site mobile service capability. Contractor must be located within a 100 miles radius of the VA Medical Center at University & Woodland Aves, Philadelphia, PA 19104. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) is 811219. The contract will be for one (1) year with (2) one (1) year options. This procurement is being conducted utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance format defined in FAR 12.303. This contract is subject to availability of FY03 funds. The solicitation package can be downloaded on 6-30-03. The bid opening date will be 7-25-03. All bid solicitation packages must be received in this office before 2:00pm.
