- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, located at Kansas City, Kansas intends to issue a solicitation with a requirement to pave with asphalt, the parking lot at the Federal Correctional Institution, located at Waseca, Minnesota. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this notice is 237310, with a size standard of $28.5 million. Contract duration will be 30 calendar days from notice to proceed. Bid, performance and payment bonds will be required. Solicitation packages will be available on or after July 21, 2003, with a projected bid due-date of August 21, 2003. This is a 100% small business set-aside. Numbered note 1 applies to this synopsis. Security investigation clearances will be required from the awardee for all staff who perform this contract on the grounds of a federal prison. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website www.fedbizopps.gov.
