- Description
- This solicitation is for the establishment of a five year corporate contract(s) for engine parts, manufactured by various manufactures (Onan Corp,Cummins Engine, Cecom LR Center, GM and etc.). Items are commercial and in accordance with code and part numbered items. The acquisition will be solicited as unrestricted using other than Full and Open Competition under 10USC 2304(c)(1). Currently, the acquisition only encompasses NSNs managed by DSCC. There is a potential to add NSNs managed by DSCP,DSCR or other Government agencies. Solicitation and all NSNs complete item descriptions are available for download under the "Acquisition Download"menu item on the DSCC Internet Bid Board (DIBBS)under the heading "DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations." Access is available via the World Wide Web-refer to WEB LINK at http://dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp/ FSCs to be covered under this project include"2510,2520,2530,2540,2590, 2805,2815,2910,2940,2990,3010,3020,3040,4320,4330,4710,4720,4730, 4810,4820,5905,5910,5915,5920,5925,5930,5935,5945,5950,5961, 5998,6145 amd 6625. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s):12 and 13. The solicitation will be available on http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/RFP on its issue date of 5/19/2003. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration(base plus option years)shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class(see above). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery,past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This modification is to extend the date to August 15, 2003.
