- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA is procuring GROUNDS MAINTENANCE/ LANDSCAPING SERVICES to be performed at the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, MA. The contractor shall provide all personnel, transportation, management, supervision, labor, equipment and supplies necessary to provide Ground Maintenance/Landscaping Services at Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod Massachusetts. The work consists of approximately 180 acres of general mowing areas, approximately 1 acre of flowerbed maintenance, and approximately 75 acres of field mowing. The contractor shall maintain proper licenses and certifications. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 -- Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A firm-fixed price services type contract will be awarded. The Base Period of performance will be from 01 May 2004 through 30 April 2005 with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government, for total contract duration not to exceed 5 years/60 months. This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Business Concerns only in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 (Landscaping Services) with a size standard of $6.0 million. The solicitation, and any subsequent amendments, will be available electronically on the MLCLANT Intranet Web site http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdiv/fdiv.html on or about 30 June 2003 with a closing date for receipt of quotes by 22 July 2003.
