- TRIAX MONOCHROMATORS AND CCD DETECTORS: The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). The proposed source is Jobin Yvon Horiba, Edison, NJ. The items being procured are two TRIAX 320 monochromators, two TRIAX 550 monochromators with different focal lengths and active wavelength ranges, and two CCD array detectors. This equipment will interface with our existing equipment and computers. This synopsis is being published for information purposes only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
