- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division intends to award a sole source contract to Paratek Microwave, Inc., Columbia, MD, to demonstrate their proprietary Parascan technology in particular frequency ranges throughout the communications spectrum. This technology will be evaluated as to its frequency range, efficiency, power handling characteristics, capability of working in a Lo-Radar Cross Section environment and ability to be used in harsh environments. The period of performance for this contract is 15 months after award. Award of a Firm-Fixed-Price is contemplated. See numbered note 22.
