Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and management required for the construction of a new administrative building, 2 bay garage, and boat shed at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. The work includes the demolition of the existing and construction of a new metal storage building and shed, site improvements, drainage modifications, fencing and site lighting, construction of a sewage lift station, sanitary sewer force main, site paving grading and seeding at the existing CB compound. The waterfront work includes repair by replacement of the existing boat ramp concrete tiles, installation of piles and concrete prefabricated boat slips, and installation of a 5,000 gallon diesel fuel tank, and all incidental related work. NAICS: 236220 Commercial and Industrial Building Construction. Small Business Size Standard: $28.5 million. Estimated Price Range: $500,000 - $1,000,000. This solicitation will be issued unrestricted and subject to FAR 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HubZone Small Business Concerns The "Issue Date" and "Bid/Due Date" stated in this notice are estimated dates. The approximate solicitation release date is 11 July 2003. The solicitation will be available for download from the official website at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) electronic file format. The Acrobat Reader is free and can be downloaded from the Adobe website. Only those contractors registered in ESOL, will be notified by e-mail upon availability of the solicitation and any amendments for download.
