Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about July 9, 2003. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION (CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS, ETC) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project consists of work at three sites: Poplar Grove - full depth repair of road, overlay of 2" hot asphalt surface, construct paved parking area and treatment of road; Five Forks - construct paved parking area North of Five Forks, construct paved parking area South of Five Forks, construct paved parking area East of Five Forks and construct paved parking area West of Five Forks and Main Park - reconstruct and widen Operations Road entrance. This project also includes bids for Options A & B. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR JULY 22, 2003 AT 0930. Contractors should meet at the Parks Maintenance Area located of State Rt 36, Petersburg, VA. The NAICS Code is 234110. ALL BIDS MUST BE MAILED TO PETERSBURG NATIONAL BATTLEFIELD, 1539 HICKORY HILL ROAD, PETERSBURG, VA 23803-4721, ATTN: CONTRACTING - IFB #I4770030614. BIDS ARE DUE BY 10:00 AM ON AUGUST 7, 2003. NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The construction estimate is between $100,000 - $350,000.
