Description

This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 9, 2003. TELEPHONIC REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION (SPECIFICATIONS, IFB, ETC) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project is for the removal and pruning of hazardous trees located at nine separate sites parkwide. The timeframe for this contract is 90 calendar days from notice to proceed. All work shall conform to standards of International Shade Tree Conference and National Arborists Association. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULE FOR JULY 23, 2003 AT 0900 AM. CONTRACTORS SHALL MEET AT 1990 MAINTENANCE WAY, RICHMOND, VA. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT ALL SITES WILL BE VIEWED ON THE SITE VISIT DATE. IF ANOTHER DAY IS NEEDED, IT WILL BE DECIDED AT THE END OF THE DAY ON JULY 23, 2003. The NAICS is 561730. The contract estimate is between $100,000 - $150,000. BIDS SHOULD BE MAILED OR DELIVERED TO: PETERSBURG NATIONAL BATTLEFIELD, 1539 HICKORY HILL ROAD, PETERSBURG, VA 23803-4721, ATTN: CONTRACTING - #I4770030405. BIDS ARE DUE BY 2:00 PM ON AUGUST 7, 2003. NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
