- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment and supplies necessary to complete improvements to the Bureau of Land Management's Kemmerer Warehouse. Work includes, but is not limited to: minor demolition for remodeling; temporary facilities and controls, including sanitary facilities and protection of landscape features; site grading; furnishing, placing and compacting aggregate on a prepared surface; construction of concrete sidewalks; furnishing and placing cast-in-place concrete, including formwork, and reinforcement; light gauge metal framing; carpentry; furnishing and installing standing seam metal roofing to match existing; furnishing and installing corrugated metal siding on interior wall surface; furnishing and installing steel doors, frames, upward-acting sectional overhead doors, vinyl windows, hardware on doors, gypsum wallboard walls and ceilings, resilient wall base and accessories, toilet room accessories; painting; mechanical work; plumbing; electrical; lighting; and telephone and date distribution system. Work is located in Kemmerer, Lincoln County, Wyoming. This project is open to both large and small businesses under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Government Estimate is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The period of performance is 60 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bonds are required as follows: 20% of the bid price for the bid guarantee, 100% of the contract amount for the both the payment and performance bonds. The solicitation will be in electronic format only. The solicitation documents will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 14, 2003. Contractors will be required to print the bidding documents for submission of their offer at the place designated for receipt of offers for a public bid opening. Contractors are strongly encouraged to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov. This registration is necessary to receive notification of amendments, contract award, and will facilitate payment.
