- Description
- The US Army TACOM-ARDEC is requiring basic research in the fabrication area aimed at developing processing procedures for making armament component parts from 60 Nitinol. Since this is a follow-on effort, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Nitinol Technologies Inc., Puyallup, Washington. This contract action is based on the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22.
