Description

Project calls for the replacement of roofs on POL tanks at Dyess AFB, TX. Work includes but is not necessarily limited to the removal of geodesic domes from bulk storage tanks and replaced with new fixed cone roofs in accordance with MIL-HDBK 1022. This project will be a competitive HUB zone set-aside RFP with a qualifier that states only tank erectors with at least 5 years of successful experience involving the repairs/installation of jet fuel tanks with at least 3 projects of similar scope and size be considered for bidding evaluation. The 2002 NAICS Code for this project is 238190 with a size standard of $12,000,000.00. The estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The estimated construction time is 180 calendar days. Specifications will be posted with the solicitation on 8 July 2003.
