- This announcement is to notify potential bidders that a solicitation will be posted on or before 25 Jul 2003 and MUST BE downloaded from FedBizOps at www.eps.gov; DO NOT REQUEST VIA MAIL OR FAX. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for a small business concern. The 2002 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Requirement is to provide the rebuilding and installation of the sewage lift station at the Primate Research Facility area on Holloman Air Force Base, NM. Contractor shall remove/demolish existing guide bar rails, lifting chain, piping, and other appurtenances necessary to rebuild existing lift station. Existing pumps shall remain property of the government. All remaining materials removed shall be considered property of the contractor and shall be disposed of at an approved off-base site. Contractor shall be responsible for pumping sewage from existing lift station to enable work to be accomplished. For the duration of work, Contractor shall block flow to the lift station at manholes upstream and downstream from the lift station. Contractor shall provide temporary 24 hour per day pumping and piping of sewage between manholes while lift station is under construction and shall also ensure that service is maintained for the duration of the project. Contractor shall provide/install all new components for the wet and dry well. Complete project description will be posted in the solicitation, reference Statement of Work (SOW) in solicitation. SITE VISIT to be determined; reference Block 10 of Solicitation for more details. IMPORTANT NOTICES: 1) RFP submission ? Must be in accordance with solicitation; Read ENTIRE solicitation. 2) Anticipate being awarded as a FFP Contract based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. 3) You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the Central Contractor Registration Database. (Ref. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration). 4) All Amendments, if applicable, Must Be Acknowledged.
