- Description
- The Hampton National Cemetery located in Hampton Virginia has a requirement for one light utility vehicle with swivel dumping capability (Terex, model PS6000 or equivalent). The vehicle required is a 4x4 all wheel drive light vehicle with an 80 horsepower engine, front and rear brakes, turf tires, the ability to dump to either side as well to the rear, and be small enough to maneuver around headstones. A request for quote will be issued for this type of vehicle. Any company capable of providing a light utility swivel dumping vehicle meeting these requirements is invited to provide a quote. The request for quote/solicitation documents must be requested in writing to the Contracting Officer, VA Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia 23667 and/or may be faxed to 757-728-3132. Reference RFQ number 246-03-00345. No electronic solicitation will be available on this web site. If an equal product is proposed, all technical information proving it meets the requirement for swivel dumping, etc must be included with the quote. Pricing offered shall be FOB destination with delivery to Hampton, Virginia. Request for quote is to be returned to the above address by 4:00PM local time July 29, 2003.
