- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has completed the Cost Comparison Study under the terms of OMB Circular No. A-76, a Contractor versus Government Performance Study, to determine if the in-house FDA scientific/medical research library services should be converted to a commercial service. The "final decision" resulted in the Government?s In-House Cost Estimate to be more economical and accordingly, the peformance of the Scientific/Medical Library services function has been awarded to its Most Efficient Organization and retained in-house. The total in-house price of the Government?s Most Efficient Organization (MEO) is $11,517,337.00.
