- Description
- The Final REP for the cost-comparison study for obtaining the most efficient and cost-effective method of providing distribution services in the management and operation of the Defense Distribution Center Corpus Christi, Texas (DDCT) will be issued with a final issue date of July 03, 2003 over the internet at the following address: http://www.supply.dla.mil/a76. The resultant contract awarded, if any, will be awarded on an all or none basis as a Fixed price (IDIQ) Contract with Cost Reimbursement provisions. The Contract performance period will be a three-year base period with the potential of an additional two-year option period. This acquisition is unrestricted. This solicitation will not result in a contract if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous in accordance with the 0MB Circular A-76 procedures. Hard copies of the REP will not be available. The RFP closing date is currently scheduled for October 03, 2003. The Site Visit and Pre-proposal Conference will be conducted on Sunday, August 10, 2003 and Monday, August 11, 2003 at 8:00 a.m. with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. for both days. The purpose of the Site Visit is to afford potential Offerors the opportunity to view the facilities and operations that are stated in the solicitation. The purpose of the conference is to do an in-depth review of the solicitation. In order to promote an informative and successful site visit, only those having confirmed reservations before August 06, 2003 by 2:00 p.m. EST will be allowed access to the site. Confirmation will be by return E-mail. Please note that only two attendees from each company will be allowed to attend each separate event. The Final Solicitation will be available on July 03, 2003 at http://www.supply.dla.mil/a76. WE DO NOT POST OUR SOLICITATIONS ON THE FEDBIZOPPS. THEY ARE ONLY POSTED AT OUR WEB SITE.
