Description

The Coast Guard intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole-source procurement to MacKay Communications, 4630 16th Street, Suite B-10, Tacoma, WA 98424-2665 for the following: Four, two day sessions of NERA Inmarsat BM Training. Training Location: Alameda, CA. Attendees: 6 students per session. The NAICS Code is 611519. The small business size standard is $6Mil annually. The contract type will be a firm-fixed price. If no responses are received within fifteen (15) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with MacKay Communications and no solicitation will be issued. If responses are received within the 15(days) then solicitation will be issued on or about 14 Jul 2003, and closing on or about 21 Jul 2003. NO TELEPHONE INQURIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. The following notice is for informational purposes: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
