Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division intends to award a sole source contract to Radstone Technology Corporation, Woodcliff, NJ for the following items: 1) 3 ea. G4DSP.7410.141B4 Processor Card Level 1 Commercial Grade, 4x MPC7410 compute nodes at 400 to 550 MHz Multi 64 bit 66 MHz PCI bus architecture, 256 MB SDRAM, 16 MB Flash and 16 MB L2 cache per compute node, 2x independent and simultaneous 64 bit, 66 MHz PMC sites, 32 bit 33 MHz P0 PCI, VME 64, 100 BaseT, 4x RS232 ports and JTAG Interface, w/VxWorks boot ROM; 2) 5 ea. 64DSP.7410.441B4 Processor Card Level 4, Ruggedized Boards, 4x MPC7410 compute nodes at 400 to 550 MHz Multi 64 bit 66 MHz PCI bus architecture, 256 MB SDRAM, 16 MB Flash and 16 MB L2 cache per compute node, 2x independent and simultaneous 64 bit, 66 MHz PMC sites, 32 bit 33 MHz P0 PCI, VME 64, 100 BaseT, 4x RS232 ports and JTAG Interface, w/VxWorks boot ROM; 3) 3 ea. G4DSPPP2.11 Transition Modules, 5 Row VME connector, provides headers for Ethernet, RS232, 1,2,3,4 Serial, for use with all G4DSP cards at Commercial Level 1. Required delivery is within 28 weeks, FOB Destination Naval Station Newport, Newport RI. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-03-Q-4779. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000.7. NAICS Code is 334419; size standard is 500 employees. It is expected to place an order with Radstone Technology Corp. They are the only known source for these items because their cards are uses in the existing torpedo processors in the Swampworks, ACOT and CBASS Programs and card compatibility is a necessary requirement. As software has already been developed, any change in processor components would require significant software coding rework. All other timely offers will be considered. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-07 applies. Offers must be submitted to Commercial Acquisition Department, Building 11, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Code 5911, Simonpietri Drive, Newport, Rhode Island 02841-1708 or may be faxed to 401.832.4820. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source using SAP and commercial item procedures as set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
