Description
NA The Program Manager for Utility Helicopters (PM-UH) is exploring the feasibility of upgrading the UH-60A/L Utility Seats to increased crashworthiness and functionality. In support of this effort, industry input is requested on the proposed specification, and on the technical feasibility of integrating an improved non-developmental seat that utilizes existing seating system attachment points. Interested manufactures with demonstrated helicopter utility seat integration and production capabilities are invited to review the draft UH-60 Improved Utility Seat Specification and Acquisition Strategy at http://utility-helicopters.redstone.army.mil/doc s.html. Said manufactures are further invited to contact Mr. Steve Monaco (256) 955-0629 or Mr. Andy Ksepka (256) 955-9243 to establish a time during the week of 14 thru 18 July 2003 (subject to change) to brief PM-UH on the specification, technical issue s, concerns, and comments as related to satisfying the requirements with a non-developmental seat solution. U.S. Government employees, government support contractors, and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation representatives will participate in briefings and revi ew documentation provided in response to this Sources Sought Synopsis.
