- NA The Northern Region Contracting Center will be issuing Solicitation DABJ01-03-R-0069 on or about July 8, 2003 to provide services for Programmed Drydocking, Cleaning, Painting, Repairs and Modifications to the U.S. Army Vessel Logistics Support Vessel (LSV ) 5, Stationed at Ford Island, Hawaii. The area of consideration is restricted North to Alaska and South/West through California and Hawaii. The place of performance will be the Contractor's facility. Dimensions are as follows: Length Overall: 272.75 Feet, Draft (LWL): 12 Feet, Beam: 60 Feet, Displacement: 4,199 Long Tons, Depth: 16 Feet, 6 Inches, Construction: Steel. A fixed-price contract is contemplated. This procurement is unrestricted. The services will include a 90-calendar day performance period. Contractors shall have a Master Vessel Agreement with Fort Eustis, VA, in order to be awarded this contract. The Solicitation can be obtained after the issue date through the Armys Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website http://acquisition.army.m il under contracting opportunities, and also at http://tac.eustis.army.mil, under solicitations (Ft Eustis). All amendments to the Solicitation will be posted to these websites. Contractors are cautioned to check the websites periodically for amendments. A site visit will be conducted in accordance with information provided in Note 1: of the Solicitation.
