Description

Project No. 01-1048, Repr/Repl HVAC System 650, Yokota Air Base. Work on this project includes but is not limited to: Architectural Work (Construct a new mezzanine level over a portion of the existing basement loading dock, Replace removable partitions for replace A/C units, Replace concrete pad for new A/C out side unit on the roof, Replace existing ceiling with new for ductwork, and Remove and reinstall metal single door and frame for A/C work); Mechanical Work (Replace existing water cooled A/C system with new air cooled A/C system, Install new ducting system for new air cooled A/C system, and Install new control system for new air cooled A/C system); Electrical Work (Replace existing power and control system with new for new air cooled A/C system, Modify existing distribution panelboard and fire alarm control panel, and Install fire alarm duct detector control system for air cooled A/C system.) The facility will be occupied and phasing will be required (2 phases). Performance period: 270 calendar days. Magnitude of this project: between Y135, 440,100 and Y677, 200,500. Site Orientation is scheduled for 8 Jul 03, from 1330, Bldg 620, Yokota Air Base, Japan. Please notify the Point of Contact if you wish to participate in the Site Orientation. All offerors are highly encouraged to participate in this scheduled tour. NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES, WHICH ARE NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
