- Description
- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to provide VA Medical Centers at North Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI; Madison, WI and Tomah, WI with their requirements for milk and dairy products. Anticipated period of performance is August 1, 2003 through July 31, 2004. Contract type is firm-fixed price. Anticipated award effective date is August 1,2003. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about June 20, 2003. This procurement is being conducted under the Subpart 13.5 test program where simplified acquisition procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. NAICS number is 311511, Fluid Milk Manufacturing. Electronic solicitation may be obtained FREE at the following URL: http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the GLAC Contact Point and accompanied by a check for $5.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. No telephone requests will be accepted. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
