- Description
- Offerors are notified that this acquisition, which is being conducted in a accordance with the OMB Circular A-76, is being transitioned to a Standard Comparison under the Revised OMB Circular A-76, dated May 29, 2003 pursuant the Brooks A/E Act. Certain deviations may be incorporated, as approved by OMB, for retention of the previous rules or procedures. The USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is seeking sources capable of providing A/E services for Soil Conservation Technicians as indicated in Place of Contract Performance. These services are currently being provided by Government personnel (7 FTE). Offerors are advised that a contract may not be awarded if the government determines in-house performance is considered most efficient. This sources sought is NOT a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330. It is anticipated that a pre-solicitation will be released on or about July 21, 2003. The solicitation will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities web site when it is released.
