- Description
- SYNOPSIS: Provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to construct a new cypress rear range light. Marine-based woodpile supported 16-foot square foundation. Erect and install a government furnished 30-foot tall freestanding tower on that foundation. Install 6 foot by 12-foot dayboard on new tower as directed by COTR. CG personnel will move existing range light to new structure prior to demolition of the existing structure. Demolish existing 35-foot tall freestanding tower and wooden foundation upon moving aid to navigation signals and acceptance of the new structure. Extend existing walkway from old structure location to new structure-approximately 15 feet at the Head of passes area of the Mississippi River, Venice, Louisiana. The performance period is seventy (70) calendar days, from notice to proceed. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive quoter. The anticipated award date is June 30, 2003. This solicitation is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 2003 code is 238210, with the size standard of $12 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be accepted.
