- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F73ACS31181100 being issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR 13.5. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-14, AFAC 2002-1122, AETC FAR Sup 15 APR 2003, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, and Defense Change Notice (DCN) 200300603. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System code is 337214 with a small business size standard of 500 Employees. Line Item 1100 17 Open Book Case w/ oak facing, stained and finished w/ 5 shelves (adjustable) per unit, approximate number of shelves shall be 40. Cases shall be 87 high and have 5 Crown molding included 5ea. 1101 13 Book Case w/ doors, shelves, desk ext, 2 filing cabinets w/ 4 drawers each, 1 formica desk top, w/ stained sides to match, insides shall be painted white. Total height shall be 87 high. 4ea. 1102 10 Open Book Case Oak in color, complete w/ shelves (adjustable) per 2 length, 10 formica top, oak stained and finished 6ea. 1103 14 Free standing book cases, shelves (adjustable) stained and finished in an oak color. 2ea. 1104 92 Counter Oak Facing, stained and finished add additional counter space in existing wall - units student common areas. 1ea 1105 Installation of items 1ea THE FOLLOWING IS THE STATEMENT OF WORK FOR THIS REQUIREMENT: Contractor shall be able to provide all labor, materials, and transportation necessary to perform the following tasks: Provide on-site installation in Building 1405, Maxwell AFB AL. Contractor must be able to build in an off-site location and install either in sections or whole pieces. Some units must be built to go through standard doorway and completely assembled once in room, this is allowable. Units need to match existing furniture in area rooms. All exposed front, sides and doors shall be an oak vaneer wood. FOR SKETCHES, PLEASE CONTACT THIS OFFICE There will be no government property provided, other than utility services provided at no cost to the contractor. Period of Performance: Project shall be completed in 30 days from date of award.
