- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. SOLICITATION NUMBER SSA-RFQ-03-0474 IS BEING ISSUED AS A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. This acquisition is not set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 518210 and the related small business standard size is $21 million. The Social Security Administration intends to negotiate solely with Vocus Inc. for renewal of the following: thirty 12-month term licenses for PRPowerbase Hosting Seats; one 12-month term license for PRPowerbase Brower Seat; one 12-month 24/7 technical support. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, past performance, and other factors considered. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Additionally, the clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items, including: (b)(11), (b)(12), (b)(13), (b)(14), (b)(15), (b)(16), (b)(19), (b)(21), (b)(25), (b)(27), applies to this acquisition.
