- Description
- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) has a requirement to increase the labor hours and revise the statement of work on a contract previously awarded to Empyrean Services of Warrenton, VA. This increase in hours will allow for the continuation of services for technical support in the development, distribution and training for the major Insurance Operations Department Policy and Procedures manuals. The services required include, but are not limited to modification and compilation of existing documents into the appropriate publishing outputs as well as the ongoing archiving and appropriate internal referencing of versions. Version control efforts will be modified to reflect single source documentation implementation. Ongoing efforts for standardizing existing documents by topics will be enabled and importing conversion efforts for existing documents into the common database will be continued. Help desk Support for fielded IOD Manuals, LAN Support and related programming for fielded manuals, helpfile integration and creation are also areas of continued effort. In view of the provider's familiarity with the procedures manuals effort already completed, it is PBGC's belief that it would be in our best interest for the current provider to complete this work within the exisiting timeframes under the contract. This is not a request for proposal.
