- Description
- The original synopsis, which was posted on June 2, 2003, was inadvertently deleted. The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is soliciting proposals for a bank that is federally insured and able to accept responsibility for depositing and accounting for approximately $1 billion in assets annually. The contractor shall be responsible for ensuring that the contractor will; batch all items (premium filings, correspondence), photocopy all checks and wires, deposit all checks and wire transfers received on a daily basis, reconcile deposits, make timely daily electronic transfers of all available funds to the U.S. Treasury, or its data capture contractor, provide daily deposit totals electronically. The period of performance for the base year shall be from date of award to September 30, 2004, with four one-year options for renewal. Telephone requests for this solicitation will not be honored. The solicitation document , including amendments, will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation and associated amendments will not be available. The estimated release date of the solicitation is June 25, 2003.
