Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NTSBQ030015 and the solicitation is issued as request for quotations (RFQ). This solicitation replaces the previous solicitation for these cameras which was cancelled. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 334119 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. The NTSB has a requirement for Digital Cameras and accessories. The specific requirement is for the Nikon Coolpix 4500 Digital camera, quantity 59, Coolpix 4500 camera case, quantity 59, EN-EL1 Rechargeable Battery, quantity 59, 128 MB Compact Flash Memory Cards (SANDISK), quantity 42 and Digital Accessory/4 filter set with wallet, quantity 58. All items shall be delivered FOB destination to the National Transportation Safety Board as follows: 41 cameras, 41 cases, 41 batteries, 42 memory cards and 40 filter sets shall be delivered to the National Transportation Safety Board, 490 L'Enfant Plaza, East, SW, Washington D.C.; 7 each cameras, cases, filter sets, and batteries shall be delivered to the National Transportation Safety Board, North Central Regional Office, 31 West 775 North Avenue, West Chicago, IL; 5 each cameras, cases, filter sets, and batteries shall be delivered to the National Transportation Safety Board, Northeast Regional Office in Parsippany, NJ; 6 each cameras, cases, filter sets, and batteries shall be delivered to the National Transportation Safety Board, Northwest Field Office in Anchorage, Alaska. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Evaluation will be based on price. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are requested to include the terms of the warranty, if any, applicable to the cameras. Offeror is required to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and the clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition The following additional FAR clauses in the clause are applicable to this acquisition.
