- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Advantage Expo, 5187 Raynor Avenue, Linthicum Heights, Maryland 21090 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for convention and trade show services to include the transportation and warehousing of the IRS e-file exhibitor booth, promotional items, materials and equipment that will be used during the 2003 IRS Nationwide Tax Forums. Total per shipment weight is estimated at 2046 lbs. The IRS Nationwide Tax Forums are being organized by Public Affairs International, 11120 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20904. The forums are comprised of six 3-day conferences organized for the benefit of the tax professional community. Conference dates and locations are as follows: July 8-10 (Atlantic City, NJ); July 22-24 (Orlando, FL); August 5-7 (Atlanta, GA); August 19-21 (St. Louis, MO); and September 2-4 (San Antonio, TX) and September 16-18 (Las Vegas, NV). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all interested parties who identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within 5 calendars of the published date of this notice will be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, all requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. Interested parties must express their questions, interest and capabilities in writing via mail, facsimile or email. Oral requests for information will be considered non-responsive. Documents over 10 pages will not be accepted by facsimile. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required prior to execution of award. If no responses are received, an award shall be made to Advantage Expo.
