- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to perform the layout surveying, materials testing, clearing and grubbing, and construct gravel trails, excavate and backfill retaining structures, construct limited access gate, wooden barriers, steel post and rail fences on existing steel curb plates, and place concrete footings and steel posts and pose fences around 3 sides of both new overlooks. Construct four new pedestrian bridges, a gravel sub-drain, place a gravel layer on each reast stop and both overlooks, assemble and install benches and picnic tables, and perform road maintenance on the access road. Work under this contract is located at the Cress Creek trail in Madison County, ID. Bonds will be required. This requirement is 100% HUBzone Setaside. The Government Estimate is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Contractors will be required to print the bidding documents for submission of their offer at the place designated for receipt of offers for a public bid opening. The solicitation documents will be posted o/a July 7, 2003. Contractors are strongly encouraged to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov. This registration is necessary to receive notification of amendments, contract award, and will facilitate payment. (See Note 27)
