Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), San Carlos Agency, has a requirement to apply traffic markings to approximately 32 miles of paved Indian Reseravtion Road (IRR) Sytem Roadways on Route Numbers 3, 6, 10, 100 & 101 on the San Carlos Apache Reservation, Gila & Graham Counties, Arizona. Located approximately 150 miles east of Phoenix, Arizona. Estimated Range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Issue Date on or about June 20, 2003. Bid Opening Date - July 11, 2003. ONLY WRITTEN OR FAX REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. This procurement is SET-ASIDE FOR INDIAN-OWNED FIRMS under the "Buy Indian Act", 25 U.S.C. 47 Section 7(b) of P.L. 93-638 (25 U.S.C 450e) requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska Native Individuals and that preference in award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska Native economic enterprises. Indian firms bidding under this Act must self-cetify they are eligible under the "Buy Indian Act".
