Description

NA The U.S. Military Academy intends to award a sole source procurement to Desert Research Institute, Raggio Parkway, Reno, NV for Environmental Characterization of Desert Biomes to include developing a desert model, testing, and conducting geographic mapping . This is necessary to characterize the desert environment in a way that supports the needs of the Army, which include testing, training and deployment. The Desert Research Institute possesses special scientific expertise in deserts and experience with mi litary training and testing operations and the impacts of military activities on the desert ecosystem. A request for quotation will not be available for this procurement.
