- Description
- Scope: The contractor shall provide medical transcription services for the Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 15(hereafter referred to as VA or the government) in strict accordance with this contract. Medical transcription services shall be provided on an as-needed basis for dictated material that includes a high incidence of technical terminology, and requires a comprehensive knowledge of the specialized vocabulary particular to a wide variety of medical fields. Contractor will transcribe reports utilizing headers and footers (Attachment 1) and appropriate formats (Attachment 2). Contractor will also transmit and/or upload completed reports to VA using transmission and batch protocols provided by VA. Estimated lines per year is 16 million 5 Hundred. This solicitation is set aside 100 percent for small business. Numbered Note # 1. The NAICS code is 561410 and the size standard is 5 million. The solicitation will be available on or about June 30, 2003 with an anticipated bid opening date of July 25, 2003 at 4 PM CST.
