Description

NA Programmed Drydocking, Cleaning, Painting and Repairs to the US Army Reserve Vessels LCU-1673 and LCM-8546 Stationed at Tacoma, Washington. Dimensions for the LCU-1673 are Length Overall: 135 Feet, 1 5/16 Inches; Molded Beam: 29 Feet, 9 1/8 Inches; Molded Depth: 8 Feet; Construction: Steel; Draft Forward (Light): 3 Feet, 6 Inches; Design: 1671 Class; dimensions for the LCM-8546 are Length Overall: 73 Feet, 6 Inches; Beam: 21 Feet, 5 Inches; Displacement: 58.81 Long Tons; Draft Loaded (Mean): 4 Feet, 7 Inch es; Design: LCM-8, Mod 1; Construction: Steel. This procurement is unrestricted. Requests should indicate whether the concern is a small or large business. Under NAICS Code 336611, a concern is small if the number of employees of the concern and its aff iliates does not exceed 1,000 persons. Contractors shall have a Master Vessel Agreement with the Northern Region Contracting Center, Fort Eustis, Virginia, in order to be awarded this contract. The solicitation will be available on or about 30 June 2003. The solicitation can be obtained through the Army's Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site at http://acquisition.army.mil, under business opportunities, and also at http://tac.eustis.army.mil, under solicitations. All amendments to the solicitation wil l be posted to the ASFI web site. Contractors are cautioned to check the web site periodically for amendments. A site visit will be conducted in accordance with information provided in Section L of the solicitation.
